CVAC has hosted an annual Memorial Service this year. Our hope is that we and you honored your loved one with a written Memorial Tribute. Please click on the SUBMIT YOUR LOVED ONE’S NAME button if you still would like for us to remember them.

We believe in restorative healing, and writing about your loved one is a way to cope with loss. With your permission, we will post your tribute on our website, and Facebook. We hope that honoring your loved one this way will help you as you continue along your healing path.

The National Crime Victim’s Rights Week will be observed April 24–30 and the theme is Rights, access, equity for all victims. The theme underscores the importance of helping crime survivors find their justice by—

• enforcing victim rights,
• expanding access to services, and
• ensuring equity and inclusion for all.

In acknowledgement of this week and in memory of homicide crime victims and their surviving families in the state of Georgia, CVAC hosts an annual Memorial Service. This service will be held Sunday April 24, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Since the COVID-19 pandemic may limit us to an outdoor service, we will determine the actual location, and ask that you SAVE THE DATE for now.

CVAC believes in restorative healing and that writing about your loved can help one cope with loss. Therefore, honoring your loved ones in this memorial tribute may bring you and your family comfort, hope and healing as you remember and cherish them by lighting a candle and speaking their name during the service. Feel free to bring a picture of your loved one, flowers, shirts with your loved one’s picture on them or any memorabilia that brings you and your family comfort during this time of remembrance.
