On August 29, CVAC's Vice President Mark Bullman and Executive Director Claudia Bradley went to Circle C Farms in Snellville, Georgia. C-2 It, LLC, is an “equine therapy” organization at Circle C Farms, founded by Caroline Jaffee. Fox 5 News was also present, filming the work that Caroline and her volunteers do, helping people address their problems and
overcome their fears with the assistance of horses.
CVAC believes that crime victims can benefit from equine
therapy, and supports C-2 It in its work to make the world a safer and more
manageable place to live for those who are struggling with grief, anger,
post-traumatic stress disorder and other destructive emotions.
C-2 It is organizing new Equine Assisted therapy sessions
for the fall. Groups can be up to 15 persons per session; individuals and
families are welcome. Day and evening sessions during the week or the weekend
will be available. Those of you who are currently receiving victim’s
compensation through the CJCC may be able to use these funds to pay for your
participation in this program. Sliding fee scales or group rates can be made
available for other participants.

of Decatur, 308 Clairemont Avenue, Decatur, Georgia 30030, on Sunday, April
10, 2011, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Crime Victims Advocacy Council (CVAC), along
with the Metro-Atlanta District Attorneys’ Offices and the U.S. Attorney’s
Office hope you will join us in honoring your loved one. The Service is
designed to be a healing event for victims and survivors of any crime. During

one’s name as a candle is lit in his or her memory. Please call, email,

name in the bulletin. A memorial wall of many of those murdered in
Metro-Atlanta from 1991 to 2010 will be on display. If you wish, you may bring
a remembrance, such as a memento or small picture of your loved one(s), to
place at the front of the sanctuary. After the service, there will be refreshments in the
Fellowship Hall below the Sanctuary, and a chance to speak to attorneys, officials
and others who may have information that we hope will assist you.
The First Baptist Church of Decatur is located

Drive. Please see the church’s website at www.fbcdecatur.com
